7900xtx Low Performance in SteamVR and VR in general. Purchased a 7900xtx at Microcenter on launch. Just installed it tonight. Replaced a 6800xt. I'm running a 5600x CPU. When my PC boots the bios screen is green. When I try to play steamvr (The only reason why I upgraded) the performance is terrible. Using FPSvr I can see that I am all in the I'm using my VR setup (Oculus Rift S) for Assetto Corsa on Shutoko Revival Project, and all of my settings are on very high, but I still find myself only managing 39.3 FPS average after every session. (does using wheel + pedals and shifter = lower fps?). It looks really bad some times. I'm wondering which settings are best you'd say for my setup? I recently got an Oculus Rift S for Christmas so I could play my sim games and also just other VR games. I mainly play assetto corsa and just drift around by myself for now. Just using the oculus rift setting for assetto corsa makes the game look mostly fine except the car didn't entirely feel like it was where I thought it should be, felt like GPU is a RTX3070. So not super high-end, but surely good enough to run AC on some good settings even in VR. But PP just kills it.. I run the Oculus Tray Tool 0.87 (run it as admin before you start AC) Default Super Sampling = 0. Default ASW Mode = OFF. Adaptive GPU Scaling = ON. FOV Multiplier = 0,00 and 0,00. no, assetto corsa is not a phone game, it will not work on android device funny enough considering your tone, I actually play AC with a Go. Use virtual desktop for windows (host) and oculus (paid app). That’s how I got pretty decent results. There’s quite a lot of info. I have tried using both my Oculus Rift S and on pancake mode, but still getting the same issue. Hitting 'Go' brings up the loading screen, but then it just crashes me back to CM with the dialogue box saying 'Race Cancelled'. Any suggestions of a fix would be really appreciated. If you have custom shader patch active, try deactivating it. Assetto Corsa works with (Re)Vive! As usual you need Oculus Home installed and running. Extract this NEW PATCH to the assetto corsa directory (thanks u/crossvr - you are a legend) Uncheck "Use Desktop Game Theatre while SteamVR is active" at AC`s properties in steam library. Open AC in Steam and change Rendering Mode to Oculus Rift. One way I was able to fix it was to open Assetto Corsa in openVR. This opened steamVR which I then selected the option to mirror what was going on in VR. Flat_Comfortable_428. Anybody who is having trouble with this I think I found the solution. In CM go to Settings ---> Video ---> Enable Mirror Texture right under Oculus. 0eAuZF.
